CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

FEES, PAYMENTS & BILLING

Payment Requirements:

  • Payment is due before final tax return filing unless otherwise stated.

  • Refund transfer or refund advance fees are set by third-party banking institutions, not Ellama Tax Solutions.

  • Late or incomplete payments may delay filing.

REFUND ADVANCE AND BANK PRODUCTS

Refund advances are offered through third-party financial institutions, not Ellama Tax Solutions.

We do not:

  • Guarantee eligibility

  • Guarantee approval

  • Determine loan terms

  • Influence lender decisions

All refund advance applications are subject to approval by the issuing bank.


CANCELLATION, NO-SHOW, AND REFUND POLICY

Cancellations

Appointments may be canceled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty.

No-Shows

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice may result in a no-show fee and may require prepayment for future appointments.

Refunds

Due to the nature of tax preparation services, all sales are final once work has begun or documents have been submitted.
Refunds may be offered only if:

  • An error is made solely by Ellama Tax Solutions, and

  • The error materially affects the tax return outcome.

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Change of mind

  • Client delays

  • Scheduling platforms (Setmore/Calendly)

  • Email and communication services

  • Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel)

These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their actions, errors, system outages, or security practices.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ellama Tax Solutions shall not be liable for:

  • Tax penalties, interest, or IRS actions resulting from client-provided information

  • Delays caused by third-party providers

  • Refund amounts differing from IRS estimates
